Living amongst these great people he comes to believe in the way of the Samurai. He winds up fighting on their side, with all of his heart.
They Won't Believe Me: This is about a philanderer who becomes engaged with 3 females, leading to calamity and a tremendous twist ending. Young succeeds in his unsympathetic role; Johnson does marvels with her scenes as his spouse. Cast includes Susan Hayward, Robert Young, Jane Greer, Rita Johnson, Tom Powers, Don Beddoe, and Blunt Ferguson. (95 minutes, 1947)
Nuts: Gripping drama in regards to a belligerent female designated an appointed attorney who should fight for her right to stand trial for manslaughter, while both the state and her own parents demand that she's not in her right mind. Spacey's directorial debut presents an excellent cast and gets off to a promising start, however it sputters to a dramatic stop midway through. Cast includes Matt Dillon, Faye Dunaway, Gary Sinise, William Fichtner, Viggo Mortensen, John Spencer, and Skeet Ulrich. Cast includes Emmet Walsh, Joe Mantegna, Frankie Faison, and Melinda McGraw. La Separation: Knowingly detailed, beautifully performed journal of the simmering tension between a wedded couple (Huppert and Auteuil) as their relation falls apart. Cast includes Isabelle Huppert, Daniel Auteuil, Jerome Deschamps, Karin Viard, and Laurence Lerel. (85 minutes, 1994)
Lilith: A somewhat accurate rendition of a J. R. Salamanca novel in regards to a novice therapist who falls in love with a bothered subject. Lilith is an investigating, if not completely pleasing, look at the numerous aspects of madness and love. This would be director-author Rossen's last film. Cast includes Warren Beatty, Jean Seberg, Peter Fonda, Kim Hunter, Jessica Walter, Anne Meacham, and Gene Hackman. (114 minutes, 1964)
Chicken Run: The chickens want to fly the coup in this animated, family comedy. Mrs. Tweedy, the greedy farm owner has other plans, and not only thwarts their escape, but threatens to make chicken pie out of them if egg production doesn't stay up to standards. All hope seems lost until Rocky shows up and helps the chickens make a more elaborate and daring escape attempt.
